The road is alive again. This October, the Matatu Film Stage sets off with its 3rd Edition, beginning with a cocktail reception at Nawab Asian Bistro, followed by the grand premiere at Century Cinemax, Acacia Mall.

For seven days, audiences will experience 27 daring films from 15 countries, cultural showcases, panel talks, workshops and masterclasses that spark dialogue and connection. This edition will screen in cinemas, communities, and alternative spaces, bringing African cinema directly to the people.

After Uganda, the journey continues across Africa and into the diaspora, carrying bold African stories to new audiences.
